Gemma & Daniel – Goosedale Conference Centre Wedding Photography

On the 21st June…

On the 21st June, arriving at Gemma’s house early in the morning,  it was such a lovely scene to walk into – All the bridesmaids, Gemma and her sister sat in the living room, giggling away – I was not expecting Such a serene atmosphere on a wedding morning!

There was no rushing – each bridesmaid having their hair curled by Gemma slowly and calmly, before leaving the hair stylist to finish and moving onto her own makeup and hair, sitting in front of her bedroom mirror for one of the last times before moving in with her soon-to-be Husband.

After assisting her with hair and makeup, Gemma’s mum helped her get into her dress, fastening each button and tying each ribbon carefully, She looked in the mirror in front with a huge smile on her face and clear pride for her beautiful daughter.

I travelled with the bridesmaids to the ceremony – I could feel the excitement in the air as they giddily sang along to songs playing loudly on the radio and reminisced about when they last heard them.

Arriving to the The Christian Centre, there were thoughtful details everywhere – small polaroids of Gemma and Daniel together , images of their friends and family – the time and thought that had gone into every aspect of the wedding was obvious to see.

At the alter stood Daniel – laughing and glancing around for his Bride to arrive. The bridesmaids walked in – followed by Gemma , taking Daniels breath away.

Then came the singing! And my, did they sing! As a band played on stage, everyone burst into song , arms in the air and concentration on their faces as they hit every note with great passion.

The couple walked down the isle as Mr and Mrs, confetti rained down as everyone clapped and cheered for them.

We headed onwards towards Goosedale Conference Centre – a magnificent venue with so much space and light – greeted with cupcakes, pink lemonade with striped straws, vintage cameras and tea lights as table decorations – it was stunning to see the effort that went into these little details.

Soon after taking group shots with a gorgeous view in the background, we headed inside for beautifully moving speeches from the friends and family.

After the cake cutting, we managed to capture the gorgeous deep red sunset in a few couple shots also.

The first dance was next – a slow number. They swayed and chatted between smiles and kisses as everyone crowded to see the happy couple. After this most people made their way to the dance floor – others enjoyed the outside cool air of this gorgeous summer evening.

A perfect end to a wonderful day – thank you for allowing us to be a part of it Gemma and Daniel!
